WHAT: The Malcolm Jenkins Foundation (TMJF) encourages guests to step off the sidelines and support Philadelphia’s young people at the 3rd annual Blitz, Bow-Ties, & Bourbon fundraiser. Join Malcolm and a few of his Philadelphia Eagles teammates for an evening of delectable bites and finely crafted bourbon while bidding on luxury live and silent auction items.
Confirmed Chefs include: Chef Thomas Harkin of Bank & Bourbon; Chef Josh Lawler of Farm and Fisherman; Executive Chef Jon Oh and Chef Joseph Nocella of Scarpetta; Executive Chef Terry Owens of Capital Grille; Chef Chip Roman of Blackfish & Tradestone Chocolate.
WHY: Funds raised at Blitz, Bow-Ties, and Bourbon will support the Foundation’s youth programming in Philadelphia, a city where poverty affects 27% of families. Current initiatives focused on the health and well-being of the City’s young people include ‘Get Ready Fest™: Feeding Philadelphia’ a community outreach event hosted in partnership with Feed the Children to provide food, essential items, and life-enhancing resources to thousands of families in need; Holiday Dinner Basket Surprise, a signature event of the Foundation that underscores the spirit of giving during the holidays, and the importance of “giving back” to the community, and ‘Summer STEAM,’ a one week program hosted in partnership with ExCITe Center at Drexel University dedicated to educating Philadelphia middle school students living in the 'Promise Zone', in the disciplines of Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Athletics and Mathematics.
